Transcription: When you remember the Edsel, don’t forget the Mustang. It’s true, business doesn’t always make the right decisions. When that happens, the feedback from the marketplace brings out its survival instincts and forces a pragmatic change of course. The Edsel is a prime example of this process. But thanks to ingenuity and quick response to consumer demand, its maker bounced back and still prospers. Excesses of government intervention hinder these market forces that have kept business responsive for a long time.
