Soviet artist Murat Hafizovich Ishmametov worked as a graphic designer from the late 1950s, producing mainly political posters in a Social Realist style as well as illustrations for the newspaper Soviet Culture. This piece of anti-American propaganda reflects the Cold War preoccupation with the nuclear threat presented by the murderous enemy.
