The Poster House graphic design studio was founded in 2006 in Bulgaria by Lyuba Tomova and Nenko Atanasov and specializes in posters addressing social issues and promoting cultural and theatrical events as well as corporate branding. The posters, like this one, are typically designed in a limited range of bold colors and feature minimal, abstract or stylized forms. Here, the red pigment in a paint palette drips onto a black ground, evoking the blood spilled by child soldiers. The poster was not commissioned by UNICEF but produced independently in the studio by Lyuba Tomova
