This work-incentive poster was one of nearly 350 colorful designs produced by the Chicago-based printing firm, Mather & Company, between 1923 and 1929. They were intended to increase productivity among office and factory workers during a period of economic expansion. Like many others in the series, this poster features an animal, in this case, a busy bee accompanied by a message encouraging teamwork.
