This poster promotes the German release of one of the more than 80 animated films in the Mighty Mouse series, first produced by Terrytoons for 20th Century Fox in 1942. Mighty Mouse, a mouse version of Superman, was originally called Supermouse, the name retained by the Germans even though he had been renamed Mighty Mouse as early as 1944 by his creator, Paul Terry. Like the others for the German releases, this poster appears to be a German-language version of the one issued by 20th Century Fox and shows the superhero with his arch-nemesis, Oil Can Harry the cat.
