While Milton Glaser made posters for several film festivals, this is one of his most inspired designs, based on geometrically stylized figures of seated moviegoers with pronounced bellies. The 1988 festival opened with Pedro Almodóvar’s Woman on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.
