This cheerful, whimsical illustrated poster was produced in Finland during a period of new awareness of environmental threats, one awakened partly by the 1970 Year of Conservation. Finland has since developed a high reputation for environmental protection. Its air quality is some of the best in the world and the country has been ranked ninth in the Global Sustainability Index.
