By the 1960s, when this poster, again designed by Hungarian-Italian illustrator Ferenc Pintér, was issued, Facis had become the largest Italian manufacturer of men’s clothing, with branches in all the cities listed on this poster. The figure of the sophisticated-looking man waving his hand as he stands on the deck of what might be a yacht, is slightly out of proportion. It is distinguished from the more static forms in much fashion illustration of the period by Ferenc Pintér’s characteristic suggestion of a sense of dynamic energy, introduced here by the man’s pose as he waves and by his fluttering tie as well as by the missing elements in what appears to be a hurriedly composed image.
