Dick Gregory was a prominent comedian and activist who released several spoken-word albums over the course of his career. Like Glaser’s Dylan poster, this image was included in the album Dick Gregory: The Light Side: The Dark Side. The split portrait of the performer clearly references the title. Glaser produced an additional poster for Gregory’s 1970 album Frankenstein, also released by Poppy Records, a label for which he produced other designs.
