This is the poster for 1973 Polish release of the 1972 American made-for-television movie, The Glass House. The story, by Truman Capote, involves a professor (Alan Alda) who accidentally kills a man and ends up in a brutal maximum-security prison. The unknown designer created the composition using photo-collage, layering two stills from the film itself and adding “bullet holes” to the one in front featuring Alda. This particular photo was used in a number of other international posters for the film but this one reflects the genuine radicalism of the post-war Polish School of Posters.
