This poster is very much a local affair, designed and produced in Anvers in the Loire region of France. It promotes the contemporary dance company founded there in 1988 by choreographer Olivier Bodin, one that ultimately performed all over France as well as abroad. The composition is the work of comic-book artist Marc-Antoine Mathieu who grew up and studied in Angers, later working as a graphic designer and scenographer at Atelier Lucie Lom, which produced this poster. The photograph from one of the company’s dance performances was taken by local professional photographer Jean-François Rabillon.
