Oro Films, a Cuban distributor of foreign films, hired Eladio Rivadulla Martínez to design this poster for the Cuban release of the 1936 Argentine musical melodrama Help me to Live. This simple composition features only lettering and a vibrsnt portrait of the Argentinian actress and singer, Libertad Lamarque, in a limited color palette. Lamarque was the biggest star of the Golden Age of Argentinian cinema in the 1930s and ‘40s and became hugely popular across Latin America.
