This is one of many work-incentive posters issued by the Sheldon-Claire advertising agency of Chicago, founded in circa 1926, during World War II. Each featured an image of an American worker or civilian accompanied by a morale-boosting quote supposedly from that particular person, and a patriotic slogan like the one here. The posters were issued in sets of 30, one a week for 30 weeks, and intended to be displayed in factories and other war-related enterprises around the nation. An article in Newsweek from May 18, 1942, noted that Chicago-Illinois Steel alone had brought up to five hundred sets.
