Little is known about the designer, Hans Birk, but he was clearly fully aware of the latest in graphic design; the two elegantly clothed gentlemen here, the one on the left in a city suit and the other in one more appropriate to country pursuits, are described by the sleek, angular lines of the Art Deco style.
